What I Offer
No matter the season of your life, work, ministry, or soul, my commitment is to walk alongside Christian leaders and their spouses to help them experience rest, renewal, and transformation in the midst of the ongoing demands that life, work, and ministry bring.
In every season -whether you’re weary, thriving, or somewhere in between, I offer a safe environment for you to be heard and known as well as to discern and cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s transformational work in your life.
I offer spiritual, emotional, relational, and practical support for individuals and groups of leaders through spiritual direction, coaching, small groups, retreats, and healing prayer all aimed to draw you nearer to God and the abundant life He desires for you.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction provides a confidential space focused on helping you recognize and respond to what God is doing in your heart and life, including your work or ministry. This time set aside each month enables you to grow in your awareness of how you relate with God (beyond just head knowledge), deepen your intimacy with Him, and live all of your life out of that intimacy.
I generally offer Spiritual Direction through monthly individual meetings or in groups of three or more, but I also provide Spiritual Direction for married couples.
Coaching/Consulting
Coaching helps you attune to the Holy Spirit, gain greater awareness in various areas of your life, set goals, and move into action as you say “yes” to God. Through coaching or consulting, I provide support for leaders or groups of leaders in every season and area of life and work, including:
Sabbaticals or transitions
Establishing rhythms of life and work
Integrating your walk with God with all of life
Exploring new Spiritual practices
Integrating your life with God into your work
Integrating spiritual formation into your ministry
Receiving coaching or consulting provides the support you need to discern and pursue all that God desires for you, your team, your church, or your organization.
Sabbaticals
Sabbaticals are sacred seasons that have the potential to be life-changing for a leader.
Immersing yourself in a sabbatical can offer essential rest, renewal, and a deeper connection to God and His purposes. It can equip you to step into your next life or work phase with increased peace, understanding, and vision while steering you towards habits that will serve you well in the future, ensuring sustainable life and ministry for years to come.
I coach and walk with pastors, missionaries and other Christian leaders throughout their entire sabbatical process, providing:
A phased framework that helps leaders design and plan their sabbaticals.
Guidance in transitioning out of work or ministry and into a sabbatical.
Coaching and a safe place to process throughout each sabbatical phase.
Practical, prayerful, and reflective resources that help you make the most of each stage of your sabbatical
Assistance as you reintegrate back into life and ministry in a way that preserves their growth and learnings.
My goal in serving you during this sacred time is that you emerge rested and holistically rejuvenated, having gleaned all of God’s good gifts that will help you flourish as you walk ahead.
Discernment
At times, leaders come to a place where they are at a crucial decision or transition point in their life or ministry. Through a structured discernment process that you invite a small group of others in your life or ministry to join, I will help you listen for God’s invitations. Using helpful tools (including prayer, assessments, and reflective exercises), I will lead you or your leadership team through a process that will help you discern where God is leading you in your life or ministry.
Cultivate Groups
Cultivate Groups are small monthly gatherings that provide a safe space for leaders or pastor’s wives to deepen their relationships with God, grow in discernment, and walk with God in the transformation the Spirit is doing in their hearts and lives. These groups also provide leaders with a place to experience confidential support and connection with God and others. Each month includes time for individual reflection with God and space for processing or group spiritual direction with one another.
Renew Retreats
Renew Retreats are one-day retreats designed to refresh you as a Christian leader. These are days for you to intentionally draw away and disconnect from the busyness and distractions of life so you can exhale, reflect and experience the rest and renewal only the Spirit of God can give you. As a result, you can step back into all aspects of your life and leadership more refreshed, present, and connected to the Lord, yourself, and others.
Seasons Retreats
Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that there is a time and season for everything. As a leader, you experience different seasons in your life, leadership, ministry, and even your walk with God. What God invites or calls you to in one season might differ in another.
This retreat offers space for you to seek God, reflect with him, and become more aware of the seasons in which you find yourself. It also helps you recognize God’s invitations in each season so you can more greatly live into the abundant life God has for you.
Rhythms Retreats
Rhythms are regular phases of time that include activities and rest that bring life to a person. Establishing rhythms helps us give attention to all areas of our lives, to live into the fullness of how God created us, and to steward the whole of our hearts and lives well.
This retreat gives you space and structure to examine the various areas of your heart and life with God and create, with Him, rhythms that will serve you in your current season.
Journeying with God
Through Grief
As we go through life, we meet loss in many ways—through the death of a loved one, a broken relationship, or the loss of a job. We might encounter it in the form of sickness, a dream unfulfilled, or through our sin or the sins committed against us. We might not always recognize it, but we sometimes meet it as a result of transition—even a transition to something good, because we're leaving other things behind. And wherever there is suffering or loss, there is grief.
As leaders, it is essential to learn not only to acknowledge our grief but walk through it with God. If
we don't, we can become stuck, or our grief can manifest itself in ways that aren't helpful for us or those our lives influence. If we learn to move through our grief well, we can experience healing and health, and also more helpfully walk with others in their grief. Journeying through our grief with God draws us nearer to Him and brings lasting fruit.
To help address your grief and journey through it with God, I offer three options:
Journeying with God through Loss and Grief: A guide for prayer, reflection, and journaling
Journeying through Loss and Grief Group -A small confidential group that meets semi-monthly and processes in a group spiritual direction format through Journeying with God through Loss and Grief
A focused time for you or you and your spouse to work through your grief through a blend of spiritual direction and coaching
Prayer Ministry
Our lives are all impacted by The Fall. And none of us are immune to struggles, sickness, sin, and woundings of our souls. As leaders, we need safe spaces to pray with others and seek God to touch our bodies and souls with healing so that we can live and lead from a place of greater wholeness and freedom.
Healing Prayer is a gentle and Spirit-directed process of prayer that invites a person to open their heart to the healing presence of God. It is often a place where God meets a person with His kindness and Truth and where He often brings a more profound sense of His love, presence, peace, and relief.
